A driver of a commercial vehicle that transports more then eight passengers and who is obliged to wear glasses or contact lenses must:

  1. Hold an extra pair of the optical instrument, besides the pair he’s wearing.
  2. Hold in the vehicle a spare pair of glasses or lenses apart from the pair he’s wearing.
  3. Verify before driving the regularity and cleanliness of the optical instrument.
  4. Perform a visual acuity test once every six months, according to requirements.
